I'm finding that if I reboot, go into DOS, and then reboot to Debian I've lost my date and time settings. This isn't a battery problem because it's a laptop which is continuously plugged in; I can put it to sleep and wake it up without problems. I think something is writing to the hardware clock on closing down but what could this be?
