I'll put in my $.02 worth. I'm no expert at all with html, but I code my webpages using gxedit. My favorite file-manager in x is tkdesk, which is available as a .deb. Every time I get to thinking that it is terribly old fashioned, I try many others, and end up coming right back to it. You may want to give it a try. Les
