Mutt can rewrite the From: header for you. In my ~/.muttrc (sort of) I have this: my_hdr From: Greg Wooledge <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I don't use smail, though, so if smail is overwriting the From: header after it gets the message, you may have to switch to a different MTA.
