Hey guys, Thanks for everybody's help. I got bind 8, and now everything works. I'm back on my own computer again.
While I'm at it, I want to get rid of the giant Star Office. I have it in a sub-directory of /home. can I just delete that directory? Where else on my system do I need to look for its sneaky little files? I wanna lose gnome, too, but I'll bet that's more complex... -- -t
