I have a Debian system off a hard drive that will no longer boot, not even from disc. It's copied entirely onto my current system under /usr/local/old
Is there any way of reading the package selections off of it there (by running a command, as opposed to actually looking at all the .prerm and .postinst files, and manually selecting each?) and applying them to the current system? -- Ferret no baka
