I always give my hernels a revision of the format x.y.zz-hostname.rev, where x.y.zz is the kernel version, hostname is my hostname, and rev is 1 for the first, 2 for the second, and so on. The only one i had trouble with is 2.2.5, since the kernel-image package maintainer used an epoch there. YMMV - -- finger for PGP public key. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: noconv iQCVAwUBN/ZMX77M/9WKZLW5AQGaMAP6Agl+lQ07SD8VNz20nyxvsxPDMgdRKmnE Qh/STtyX7/fxZ94HElPt/Lp4dkOirKfn9JYQrnRHXJwAO71i8nAVUPF5jb2PBc2m HkqRD6E1lKoA20CfNrHmUUCRlDh//eOHwJH5pZJMNN4Twimx1aC21UDSIZtn500V 5u4ZLlEeqZ8= =HvDN -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
