Ok, I've got a little problem here. I created a diagram using xfig, but this diagram needs to be shared with windows users and inserted into an MS Word document. I have no control over that. I am familiar with using fig2dev to convert the .fig to some other format (eg PNG) for use in documents.
The problem is that fig2dev barfs on the .fig file once I include the library figure "State_Medium" (from the "UML" set) in the figure. It isn't essential to have that library object in the diagram, so I thought I could delete the library object so fig2dev wouldn't have problems. *However*, fig2dev still has problems, and if I use a text editor I can see that the object is still in the .fig file. (I think fig2dev is generating bad postscript) What is the best or most practical way to work around this? I would be content if someone can provide an easy way to eliminate the object from the file (reading the spec and using a text editor doesn't qualify for "easy").
