I use dnscache from djbdns (apt-get install djbdns-installer) .. it's a piece of cake to get setup, and very very memory efficient. BIND was chewing up 4-5 MBs of RAM just to be a caching nameserver, and dnscache sits there using around 200k, while performing faster. Just my 2c.
