Shao -- if you have other windows machines, can they get to it fine? :) If you haven't any other windows machines, that will confound things a bit (for testing purposes anyways.. your life *will* be easier. ;) but ensure that the Microsoft File and Print sharing is installed, and ensure that you have the microsoft network client installed in addition to the tcp/ip protocol. I figure tcp/ip is installed if you can ping, and perhaps the microsoft client is installed (does anyone know if it is actually needed to respond to pings?) -- but perhaps the sharing is not installed.
