I am experiencing a strange effect with a
compaq server.
I installed the default kernel from debian, and it works ok.
I tried to rebuild the kernel (to add a module for multiport serial),
but the new kernel seems not to be able to detect the scsi controler
(twin-channel 53c876, I/O at 0x2000 and 0x2400, irq 5 and 9).
I dig inside the configuration options, but I did not found anything
which can help me.
Do you have been reported of a similar problem sometime?
Do you have any clue/suggestion?
