Is it possible? I have a full duplex card and I'd like to be able to record and play through it at the same time. Is this a pipe dream or do I need something like ALSA? I'd rather not have to fork over the money for the OSS drivers but what would be involved in switching over to ALSA? How would that affect my current sound programs (eg. xmms, mpg123, etc.)?
