I know how to get wterm to become transparent, but what I should have said was how can wterm's transparency and other options be applied to xconsole. I'm looking for some way to alter the command /usr/X11R6/bin/xconsole - -notify ..... -file /dev/xconsole to incorporate wterm. Thanks for the suggestions though dyer.
