Only if people read only the subject of the message, as you appear to have
done. He was asking a very specific question, which has only one answer.
It's not a religious thing.

And yes Andy, bash cannot do that, though zsh can. I migrated from tcsh to
zsh; it's a pretty easy migration. zsh is very similar to bash, but it has
extra features like tab completion and it also has special tcsh-style
features that can be enabled to ease the transition from tcsh (over the
years, I turned them all off..).
