Is there a work-around for this bug -- e.g., a rescue image that contains a kernel that works with the adaptec 2940 scsi card? I'm trying to install slink & the rescue disk kernel is hanging at the "Downloading sequencer code" line.
I'm new to debian, so there may well be some FM I haven't R'd, so if there is let me know where I can find it.
