most(all?) of the scripts that execute from debian packages are in /var/lib/dpkg/info while a longshot, installing something like debsums may help to determine if there are a lot of files modified, many configuration files won't be able to be checked by this since they are modified after package installation, but it may help detect stuff in /bin or /sbin that may of been curropted. good luck nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
