Go to /var/lib/dpkg/info/ and look at blackbox.postrm. This is the script that is failing. You can 'force' things by just moving this script somewhere else and running dpkg --purge blackbox. You may want to read the script and, by hand, perform whatever it is supposed to do. Carl
