If "he" is the OP, then, I'm running testing/unstable mix. I did update some packages today, yet didn't notice much difference. Maybe I need to move completely to sid. Any pointers to how to configure with fonts.conf? If I move it out of the way some fonts *slightly* change, but not much. I'd still like to see mozilla with AA completely turned off. $ dpkg -l | egrep '(gtk|mozilla|opera)' ii gdk-imlib1 1.9.14-11 imaging library for use with gtk (using libp ii gtkglarea5 1.2.3-1 Gimp Toolkit OpenGL area widget shared libra ii libgdk-pixbuf2 0.22.0-1 The GdkPixBuf image library, gtk+ 1.2 versio ii libgnorbagtk0 1.4.2-8 GNOME CORBA services (Gtk bindings) ii libgtk1.2 1.2.10-14 The GIMP Toolkit set of widgets for X ii libgtk1.2-comm 1.2.10-14 Common files for the GTK+ library ii libgtk1.2-dev 1.2.10-14 Development files for the GIMP Toolkit ii libgtk2.0-0 2.2.0-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface library ii libgtk2.0-0png 2.0.6-3 Dummy package for libgtk2.0-0 ii libgtk2.0-comm 2.2.0-2 Common files for the GTK+ graphical userint ii libgtkxmhtml1 1.4.2-8 The GNOME gtkxmhtml (HTML) widget ii libwxgtk2.2 2.2.9.2 wxWindows Cross-platform C++ GUI toolkit (GT ii mozilla 1.2.1-9 Mozilla Web Browser - dummy package ii mozilla-browse 1.2.1-9 Mozilla Web Browser - core and browser ii mozilla-mailne 1.2.1-9 Mozilla Web Browser - mail and news support ii mozilla-psm 1.2.1-9 Mozilla Web Browser - Personal Security Mana ii mozilla-xft 1.2.1-9 Mozilla Web Browser - Xft support files ii opera-static 6.11-20021129. I don't really follow this dependency problem: libgtk-common: Depends: libgtk2.0-common (= 2.2.0-1) but 2.2.0-2 is to be installed 2.2.0-2 is installed. # apt-get -t unstable install libgtk-common Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies: libgtk-common: Depends: libgtk2.0-common (= 2.2.0-1) but 2.2.0-2 is to be installed -- Bill Moseley [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
