Hi, I just had this filesystem check error while booting:
Duplicate blocks found ... invoking duplicate block passes ... File /lib/libungif.so.3.0.0 (inode #12302, mod time Wed Jul 8 02:36:34 1998) has 2 duplicate block(s), shared with 2 file(s): /bin/skill (inode #8284, mod time Fri Oct 30 05:06:54 1998) /bin/vmstat (inode #8281, mod time Fri Oct 30 05:06:56 1998) Clone duplicate/bad blocks<y>? and a few other questions I answer as defaulted (<y>). Then, I try to make a reboot (ctrl+alt+del), but it won't and just gives me the following: BUG IN DYNAMIC LINKER ld.so: ../sysdeps/i386/dl-machine.h: 307: elf_machine_lazy_rel: Assertion `! "unexpected PLT reloc type"' failed! and it hangs there, and gives me the same message everytime I try to reboot, so finally have to resort to reboot button. Now the system seems to be working ok, just concerned. Only unusual thing I did prior to this is attempting to create a new user with not so good results: the new user's home directory was created, and so is the line in /etc/passwd: usermaria:x:1001:100::/home/usermaria:/bin/bash but I cannot log in as the new user!
