well, looking into /etc/ppp/ip-up: # The environment is cleared before executing this script # so the path must be reset PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin export PATH /usr/X11R6/bin isn`t included in the path - bug - so this error can`t be found by manually executing run-parts. but how have you solved the display issue? adding -display :0 to the command line don`t work for me. curious -- hafi
