I'm trying to build the vim sources to use gvim. I did it a while ago
but have since rebuilt my machine.
The problem is that I'm happily copying the three vim files to
/usr/src/vim and extracting them with
dpkg-source -x vim vim_5.0-0.2.dsc, changing the debian/rules file to
remove the two no X switches
and then running debian/rules build.
The process then appears to go through the configure and building stages
but no .deb is produced at the
end. Why? Any ideas about what I should be looking for?
Any suggestions at all?
