Ever since upgrading to the 2.2.x kernel, my cd players cannot auto detect a cd in the drive. I have to manually try to mount the cdrom drive before the cd player will register the cd.
I am quite sure it has to do with the kernel as I just tried the 2.0.36 kernel again and everything works as expected.
