I hope not.... Help me out here! :) Why are you against Gnome and KDE? I use KDE and kfm, the file manager, is a very capable WWW browser, and KMail works fine. You can use KDE apps without being tied down to KDE -- any other Linux apps will run just fine. I don't see the problem.
