Hi, I have a minor problem swapping floppy and cd-rom module on my Compaq LTE 5200. I can only make either /dev/fd0 or /dev/hdb recognized, but not both at the same time. Sometimes, it takes several boots for the transition to take effect. That is, when I switch from one module to the other, there is a period of time when neither is being recognized, and then all of a sudden, after some boots, it is finally recognized. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem? Thanks!
