Nope. This poor, underprivileged glibc2.1 person has cleared libc5 off his system and (so far) is happy as a lark. Netscape 4.6 is fine. Some people are having problems with several versions of Netscape. Some people. Several versions. But guys, there are a few installations of Netscape around, and this looks like a minority thing. Maybe you should be looking for a different cause. Or maybe, for you, you are right. If libc5 fixes your problem, terrific.
