 Just as a check, try "mount -t iso9660 /dev/hdc /h". I've never tried it
with the arguments in the the order you listed. It shouldn't make a
difference, but you never know.

 One thing to check: try mounting /dev/hdd. I once had a CD drive set to
slave mode and it took me forever to figure it out. :-> This would
actually explain why the install worked and it doesn't now.

 Beyond that, I really don't know anything special about Creative drives,
sorry.
