USERS: I'm going through the process of reading piles of DOC, but maybe someone knows of the top of their head---
i'm having the same problem as freefood, getting my modem up and dialing. it's a Megahertz XJ1144 and as far as I can tell it's not a winmodem. So what do i need to do to get linux to recognize it? I do i tell if it is being recognized?
