Put the cursor on the line "--- Up to date installed packages ---" and press '='. You can do the same with the line "--- Updated packages (newer version is available) ---" To turn it off, press ':' instead of '='. One that i find useful is to press '_' on the "--- Available packages (not currently installed) ---" line, then select Remove from the menu. It gets rid of the cruft from packages uninstalled but not purged.
