Have you checked that the file that this links to (/lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.8) exists? Sometimes a package sets up symlinks in it's configation scripts, instead of including those links as a part of the package. When the package is removed, the links are left beghind. This is, as I understand it, a "bug" in the package.
