hi, I found that a file from libc6-dev has been hosed with the system, its permissions are now:
c---r----- 1 12320 8224 32, 48 Jan 30 1987 /usr/lib/crt1.o but I can't do anything with it... c69:~# rm /usr/lib/crt1.o rm: remove `/usr/lib/crt1.o', overriding mode 0040? y rm: /usr/lib/crt1.o: Operation not permitted nor can I change any permissions or ownership. I created a fake user with that user id and group id, but I still could not do anything to it... how do I get rid of this file? thanks, Paul
