Hi, I don't know why. Maybe, apt handles ftp protocol and http protocol quite differently, or maybe the cisco cache engine handles them differently.
All I know is this cisco thing is *very* expensive :) In the mean time, I guess we can just bare with the ftp protocol. However, for some site, such as the kde one which does not allow ftp anonymous login, then that is a problem. It is a pain to download each package by hand... Shao.
