I have a plexwriter 4/12 and I'm running debian 2.2 with a 2.2.7 kernel. My system is entirely scsi. I am a windows native and due to intense peer pressure (and curiosity) I installed linux this past year. Now I find my self booting into windows for two reasons, to play games, and to burn cd's. Well I downloaded xcdroast in hopes to further limit my windows exposure. However I am not getting this to work, I have attached the output when trying to burn a cd, it happened both times I tried. If anyone has gotten this to work, and can guide me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. Its amazing how much of a pain in the ass the windows freezing seems once you're not used to it.
