Setup a network without network

HI,

I would like to practice the Apache Setup both at work and at home.

At work I have a network but at home I have a standalone PC.

How can I setup my linux box to install and execute APache without a network.

I've tried it using the dummy adapter and localhost name but I heven't been able.

I'm a newbie and I've studied all the how-to I've found for these themes but it still doesn't work

Help please and thanks in advance
