Hi all: Where is the proper place to set environment variables, so that they would propagate to X apps?
I need to set HTTP_PROXY variable (for Xemacs/W3). I found out that neither ~/.bashrc nor ~/.profile are parsed during login into GUI (I'm using wdm FWIW). I start Xemacs with a shortcut (not from an xterm).
