I'm the maintainer of cdparanoia. As was mentioned previously about this
bug, there are many opportunities for the channels to be swapped aside from
the software. It could happen in the cable coming out of the CDRom drive,
at the analog input to the sound card, at the DAC on the CDRom drive, among
other places. I have a test CD. I don't currently have a cable installed
from my CDRom drive to my sound card. I'll mess with headphones and see if
I can reproduce this bug later today. I'd appreciate if you could try to
reproduce it the same way.
