If I recall correctly, you only have to enable the mouse in the kernel if it IS a ps2 mouse. I'll check: VT2 root-Deb-Slink:~# grep -i mouse /usr/src/linux/.config # CONFIG_MOUSE is not set Thats right mouse isn't set because I use a serial mouse. That could be the problem.
