You also need to include the ProxyRequests directive in the
/etc/apache/http.conf file.
At the end of this file just add the following lines:
## Proxy Settings
ProxyRequests on
CacheRoot /directory/to/hold/cache/files
CacheSize 10000
CacheDirLevels 3
CacheDirLength 2
Read through the apache docs (that are stored locally if you
installed the apache-doc package) for details of exactly what
each directive does, but the above is not a bad default.
