Aiyee, where to begin. My university has had similar problems for the last two months. The problem is that 4.0x clients use a different command than 4.5x clients to access the LDAP system. I don't know all the details, we eventually fixed all the problems by upgrading our servers to Messaging Server 4.03, I beleive. Rob.
