I posted this question to the Sparc list but didn't get a reply so I'm trying it here.
I have an Ultra5 that I would like to install on. The installation pages make no mention of this, or any other machine being "supported". I am curious because the RedHat installation manual specifically states that the Ultra5 is "unsupported". I have also heard that this is a kernel problem and the kernels after 2.2.5 *do* support this machine. Can anybody clear this up? I have been using Debian on Intel for almost three years and I'd like to put Debian on this box if at all possible.
