I would like to install the latest version of Gnome and Enlightment on my Slink system. I have a modem at home so I thought tht I would download the files at work and create a cd for my upgrade. I went to this site :
http://www.debian.org/~ljlane/downloads/enlightenment/ and downloaded the files from there. I then went to the gnome site and followed the links for the files there and it gave me the apt-get command. That would be OK if I wanted to wait for it but I would like to copy it to cd at work. How do I get the files by ftp? Is there any forseable problems in doing this? Please reply to me also since I am on the digest version of the list and my mail sometimes corupts that.
