I just checked (and hope to be corrected) but I couldn't find _ANY_ reference to requiring the -lm option to enable math functions.
I, like many others, was aware of this requirement but IMHO the documentation may be deficient in this respect. I would like to know if anyone can find the reference as it seems not to be in the places I would look myself or expect a beginner to look. Ivan.
