sounds like LILO is sending data to the serial port, check lilo.conf's append= line for something like console=ttyS0 and comment out that line(or change it), re-run lilo and reboot nate -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
