The filesystem having the problem is the one whose device is major number 3, 
minor
number 3 (dev 03:03). This happens to be /dev/hda3. (You can see this with 'ls 
-l
/dev/hda3'.) This looks like a pretty nasty message but perhaps not. I guess it 
could
be because Windoze wasn't cleanly shut down. On the other hand, the time I had 
really
nasty large scale filesystem damage on my laptop I believe had to do with my 
power
management bios. So, now I don't use PM except to power off the thing at 
shutdown.
Still, I don't know that this was the problem. It happened while I was using the
system on a flight. Perhaps my laptop and I were just getting too much cosmic 
rays.
Who knows?
