I just tried to print, and I get the same thing. Since libc6 depends on ldso, I installed that, but I restarted staroffice and it still didn't print. I'm thinking about the "version information on loadable symbols" option in the kernel now, but loadable modules are not much more than a black box to me, so I'm not sure how to approach that.
