BTW, there is a nice package called debget for fetching the source of a package: Description: download source and binary Debian packages debget downloads source and binary Debian packages by name. It doesn't require a local copy of the Packages files, instead it lists directories on the FTP site to find out what versions are available. It can be found in the unstable/main/utils section of debian. Torsten -- Homepage: http://www.in-berlin.de/User/myrkr
