Hi... I have a problem: sometimes I need some special files for a Linux Installation (actually its msgfmt :) , but I don't know in which .deb-package it is.
Does someone know how to search the whole cd-rom for a special file, or, is their a possibility to list recursivly with "dpkg --contents" the contents of all(!) .deb-files on the cd-rom? I tried with "dpkg --contents `find -name *.deb`", but that doesn't work correctly, because the result of "find -name *.deb" is given to "dpkg --contents" when this processed is finished, but "dpkg --contents" only allows one more parameter... :( Any hints?
