a) be simple, leave ppp thinking you have a dynamic account, when you login you get the same IP and no one is the wiser.
I have an IP (and name in DNS) assigned and you can hit me when I am logged in however you please. Even have a MX record so mail sits and waits for me. If login by dns name fails, check with the DNS and make sure it knows who you are.
