When I run pdflatex on a document that compiles without a problem in
normal Latex, I get the following error (and it has happened on all the
latex documents I have tried so far - however not always referring to the
same font).
! Error: pdflatex:
Font ptmro8r not found in map files
Then I did a
locate ptmro8r
with the following result:
/usr/lib/texmf/fonts/tfm/adobe/times/ptmro8r.tfm
/var/spool/texmf/pk/gsftopk/adobe/times/ptmro8r.540pk
/var/spool/texmf/pk/gsftopk/adobe/times/ptmro8r.600pk
/var/spool/texmf/pk/gsftopk/adobe/times/ptmro8r.657pk
/var/spool/texmf/pk/gsftopk/adobe/times/ptmro8r.720pk
How can I correct that?
