Evening all. I am trying to setup a secondary swap partition on a different IDE controller in my system. I partitioned the drive, inserted /dev/hdc5 none swap sw pri=0 0 0 into the fstab ( I may be putting the pri=0 option in the wrong place, but it works with the first swap partition) But when I boot, I get Unable to find swap-space signature for the /dev/hdc5 and swapon produces Invalid argument message, when trying to either swapon -a or swapon /dev/hdc5 How do I activate that swap?
