Simply avoid telling dselect to use the unstable or frozen distributions. Unless you explicitly tell it otherwise it will only install packages from the 'stable' selection -- these have been tested and proved to work well together before they were denounced 'stable'. -- Henning Makholm http://www.diku.dk/students/makholm
