Hi all, My scsi tape has been giving me problems lately and I wonder if anyone can shed some light on what to look for. When I do my backups it has been failing with the following message after it has done part of the backup.

If I remove and reinsert the tape it will work for a while and then repeat the above errors. The setup from dmesg is: scsi0 : Tekram DC390(T) V1.11 Feb-05-1997 scsi : 1 host. Vendor: Seagate Model: STT8000N Rev: 3.12 Type: Sequential-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02 Detected scsi tape st0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 4, lun 0 scsi : detected 1 SCSI tape total. The drive uses TR-4 cartridges.
